Tests Done at Home
- NCV (Nerve Conduction Study): For numbness, tingling, neuropathy
- EMG: Muscle activity test, often with NCV
- EEG: 30-60 min brain wave test for seizures, headaches
- VEP (Visual Evoked Potential): Checks optic nerve & visual pathway function. Used for unexplained vision loss, optic neuritis, MS screening
- BERA (Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response): Tests hearing nerve & brainstem pathways. Used for newborn hearing screening, vertigo, acoustic neuroma

- Test Type: Both are non-invasive neuro-diagnostic tests, 30-45 min each
- Availability: Done at home with portable equipment by trained audiologists/neuro-technicians
- Preparation: Clean hair, no oil/gel. BERA for infants best done during natural sleep

- Reports: EEG/NCV within 24hrs on WhatsApp, hard copy next day
